Why My Prices Stay Low
Share

Hi there — I’m glad you stopped by.
Every now and then someone suggests I should charge “boutique prices” for my cards. And listen… that’s sweet. Truly. But this little shop isn’t trying to be fancy. It’s more front‑porch than fine‑art.
I keep my prices low for one simple reason:
I want people to actually use the cards.
Send them.
Stick them in a lunchbox.
Mail one on a Tuesday for no reason at all.
That’s the whole point.
I don’t want anyone staring at a $14 card thinking, “Well… maybe I’ll save this for a major life event.” No. Send it now. Make someone smile today.
And shipping? I keep that plain and honest too. I don’t hide it in the price or pretend it’s “free.” You pay one flat rate, no matter how many things you buy. No tricks. No “surprise, you paid shipping three times.” Just straightforward, Appalachian common sense.
This shop is small, warm, and porch‑paced. I make things because it brings me joy, and I hope they bring a little joy to someone else. Keeping everything affordable just fits who I am and what this shop is meant to be — simple kindness, within reach.
Thanks for being here and supporting this little corner of the world.
