About Us
The Story Behind Penny's Dream
This shop started as a spark — one product, one idea, one late-night brainstorm fueled by peach rings and pure determination. I've been designing and creating paper crafts, cards, stickers, and bookmarks for over 15 years. I love to design and create. You could probably say I'm obsessed.
Every collection I create is a love letter to the culture that raised me, the sass that fuels me, and the stories that connect us. From Halloween haunts to Miss Peach elegance, each piece is designed to make you smile, feel seen, and maybe cackle a little.
Designed in Silhouette Studio 5
Every file in this shop is designed and built in Silhouette Studio 5 Business Edition — with Studio users in mind. This isn't a side-tool shop where files get converted and crossed fingers do the rest. Studio 5 is where every project starts, gets tested, and gets finished.
Each download may include SVG, PNG, and/or PDF files. (Check the descriptions for full details) I design it, I print it, I make one — and the photos you see are the actual finished piece, not a mockup.
I do use some AI tools like Canva and Copilot to help bring my imagination to life, but they're tools, not the product. The creativity, the design, and the care are all mine.
I do make mistakes — I'm human. But I try to own up and make it right. That's why we have a 30-day refund policy on digital items.
The Blue House
The blue house in our logo? That's a real place — an old house on our property that inspired the brand you see today.
Looking for Physical Items?
I still make and sell handmade cards, stickers, and other paper goods. You'll find those at a small retail space in Saltville VA. called the West Main Mercantile — where I carry local-related items, the Appalachian Charm collection, prints, postcards, and other treasures that fit our little area.
A Note About Authenticity
I work out of my studio in my home. I don't have a business phone or separate business address, but I'm real, my work is real, and I would never intentionally steal anything from anyone. I know I'm a little quirky, and my designs aren't everyone's cup of tea. Like my stuff, don't like my stuff, take it or leave it — that's totally up to you.
This isn't just a shop — it's a celebration. Of Appalachian pride. Of creative grit. Of finding joy in the details and meaning in the mischief.
So whether you're here for the sass, the storytelling, or just to see what I've cooked up next — welcome. You're part of the story now.
