I'm Penny—creator, storyteller, and proud Appalachian mischief-maker. Raised in Fairbanks, Alaska but rooted in the rhythms of the Blue Ridge, I've always believed that the best things in life come with a little grit and a whole lot of charm.

I live outside of Saltville, VA in a little bitty community called Lick Skillet (you can look it up—it's a real place!) with my hubby of over forty years and our two little dogs, Peanut and Roxie, who weigh under 10 lbs and model for the don't knock signs.

This shop started as a spark—one product, one idea, one late-night brainstorm fueled by peach rings and pure determination. I've been designing and creating paper crafts, cards, stickers, and bookmarks for over 15 years. I love to design and create. You could probably say I'm obsessed.

Every collection I create is a love letter to the culture that raised me, the sass that fuels me, and the stories that connect us. From Halloween haunts to Miss Peach elegance, each piece is designed to make you smile, feel seen, and maybe cackle a little.

Yes, all my stuff is handmade. It's real paper, real ink, real imagination. The blue house in our logo? That's a real place too—an old house on our property that inspired the brand you see today.

With handmade comes character—something that might be a little crooked or misaligned. I feel that's expected and part of the charm. I do use some AI tools like Canva and Copilot to bring my imagination to life, but they're tools, not the product. The creativity, the craft, and the care are all mine.

I do make mistakes—I'm human. But I try to own up and make it right. That's why we have a 30-day return policy.

We have a small retail space in a local business in Saltville called the Mercantile on West Main, where you'll find local-related items, the Appalachian Charm collection, prints, postcards, and other treasures that fit our little area.

I work out of my studio in my home. I don't have a business phone or separate business address, but I'm real, my work is real, and I would never intentionally steal anything from anyone. I know I'm a little quirky, and my designs aren't everyone's cup of tea. Like my stuff, don't like my stuff, take it or leave it—that's totally up to you.

This isn't just a shop—it's a celebration. Of Appalachian pride. Of creative grit. Of finding joy in the details and meaning in the mischief.
